We were very lucky to find this place on a very short visit to Cambridge and can honestly say if we are ever in Cambridge again it’ll be the first place we go. We ordered the Philly cheese steak which was incredible and the roast beef ciabatta which was also very good. The quality of the ingredients, especially the bread is top notch. 100 percent worth a visit. We had a take away, which is a little window at the side of the restaurant. We did have to wait about 20 minutes as it was lunchtime and they were very busy. Definitely worth the wait though.
My first time trying Bread & Meat. We had a takeaway Philly cheese steak with half jalapeños and half without. With then their pot of gravy! So tender and seasoned really well. I’m not a huge fan of sourdough bread sometimes but this was so fresh. The gravy had so many flavours. I can’t wait to go back again and try some more sandwiches! 9.6/10!
Stumbled upon this place from google maps and the high review ratio and we were definitely not disappointed. Truly excellent food which was so tasty and worth it! The menu is a bit confusing so make sure to double check what you want. Recommend the sandwiches but the poutine is also excellent and the beef gravy made the dish. Enough seat options for dining in but may have to wait and que during peak hours. Service was quick and nice would recommend for sure and if i’m back in Cambridge I’ll definitely come visit again!
An absolute delicious place. Although you're packed in like sardines and there's probably a wait, it's worth the wait too. The soy chicken sandwich is amazing. The chicken is juicy and succulent. The staff are really friendly although so busy it's unbelievable. There's one large table in the middle, then there's the window seats and some seating at the edge. Like I say packed like sardines but so delicious. Well worth a visit
We loved this little place in Cambridge. The food was absolutely fantastic, the concept was so fun! I had the porchetta bowl, and it was so beyond delicious and fresh, and I appreciate that it was gluten free!
